Temporary Registration

Treatment is available from our practice if you take ill while temporarily staying in our practice area (e.g staying with relatives or in a hotel) and are unable to travel to your own practice. You will be required to complete a temporary resident form and provide photographic proof of identification (such as a passport or driving licence) before any appointment can be made. The form can be collected from our Reception desk or printed off from the link below.

Temporary Resident Form

You can be registered as a temporary patient for up to three months. This will allow you to be on the local practice list and still remain a patient of your permanent GP. After three months you will have to permanently register with the practice.

Practices do not have to accept you as a temporary patient although they do have an obligation to offer emergency treatment. You cannot register as a temporary patient at a practice in the town or area where you are already registered.
